Steel City Soils offers a lot of products.  It's up to you to figure out how you want to participate with us.  We have divided up our services and products below.  Decide which level describes you the best, and we'll tailor our suggestions for products to you.

Stock Products:

• Phone Consultation - FREE!  Just call us at 412-992-8640.
• Soil Test and Assessment - $150 - Full chemical tests from Timberleaf Soil Testing, and a biology assessment from our Pittsburgh soil lab with evaluation and suggestions by our staff.
• Urban Lot Evaluation - $120 - a comprehensive plan for your urban homestead.
• 55 Gallon Rain Barrels - Installed in the City for $150
• Compost Tea Application Services - Season subscription (3 applications/yr) in the city for $150
• Compost Tea by the gallon - Specially blended for your crops - $4.99/gallon

Services:

• Urban Permaculture Design and Installation - a systems approach to designing your urban homestead.  We can help with anything from energy to food to compost.
• Mini-Farm Design and Consulting - we'll help design and install a productive farm on any size urban lot which can become commercially viable as a business for you!  Everything from soil improvements to farm-marketing and website design.
• Whole Farm Design Services - for properties outside the city 10+ acres.  We offer a range of services from topographical studies, farm systems design, forestry, irrigation, orchards and animal grazing systems.
